One of the important functions we are trying
to undertake is to provide rehabiliation materials that can be
widely used by literate parents to help their hearing-impaired
child.
We are posting here the first fruits of that
effort, which is a growing set of materials produced in English
and Spanish by the John Tracy Clinic. What we are offering as
of August of 2003 is 3 lessons of 12 that have been translated
into Arabic largely through the efforts of SAWA, the Syrian-American
Women's Association, by a dear and wonderful man, Majd Abbar.
Please note that the chapters listed below
are "PDF" files. To view these files, you must
have Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download free from Adobe's website. The files are
very large because they have complicated
formatting and many pictures. If you do not have a high speed
connection it will take quite a while to download these files...
